No ice fishing for me I like it when its warmer and now ice is involved. Cold + water just seems like a bad idea for me.
Ok so with all these cold temps, I would think its been a ok yr for ice fishing
today traveling I seen many guys on the ponds fishing
looked cold, but safe ice I gather
so any one catching anything??

Hahaha, I fell thru the a ice a couple times, was sure cold
but mad for funny stories later on to joke about LOL
need one of them hunts you tow, a stove and a TV and some beer
and starts to sound better doesn't it!
catching a fish would just be an accident at that point!
Fishing usually involves beer and bs. Catching a fish is a bonus :). Sometimes my dad gets really serious with his fishing. We switched to wearing fishing vests since you can get 2-3 beers in them.

yeah back when I fished a lot , seemed always more beer got drank than fish caught!
had a lot of fun
even yrs when I did ice fish, but just not like it once was with fishing, all my buddy's more or less grew up, got married, and or moved off, with less time to silly adventures!
but hey, many folks on this site used to be bigger fisherman
so figured I'd start up a post and see
be cool to see a few guys here catch a few and or maybe tell some stories about what they caught, or drank? LOL
I think it was two maybe three years ago I went way up north in quebec and caught alot of big pike. Something like an 18 hour trip straight north from pittsburgh.
Lots of fun. I have to get those pictures off of my old computer and then I will post them
