well apples and pears are about an average yr, but seems like a lot of apple's have been dropping with all the storms we been having here
lots of green apples on the ground now
acorns, to be honest haven't even looked yet
Mast report so far-
Crabapples, persimmons, and honeysuckle are cropping very heavy, one of the best seasons I've saw. No report yet on acorns, anyone else have an idea or observation?

Apples here very heavy crop, I haven't checked any nuts yet, they seem to not like wet weather though, especially in te spring, and here in Jackson county it has rained like 20 out of 29 days in July! Unheard of.
Up here our apple trees are fuller than ever and the ground is littered with drop offs. Last time we were down at the farm it looked like all the crab apples were loaded as well. Hope to get down soon to give you a better update. Haven't been looking up at the oaks lately.
I did notice quite a few hickory nuts on the ground yesterday. I haven't really looked at the oaks this year.
I may be opinionated...but, my opinion is the only one that matters anyway.
