well yrs back I hunted everything I could, from frogs to fish to coyotes, and crows, as they could be huntd all yr and crows can be fun calling them in, like coyotes, only there a lot easier LOL
but now a days to be honest after deer season, the bow sits mostly till a few months before season when I start shooting/practice again, but I think that has a lot to do with I shoot a X bow now, due to back problems
the Bow was more something I liked to practice with all yr, so looked for reasons to go out with it
Now I just use guns with things I used the bow for some!
I would think the more common deal in off season would 3 D shoots and weekend contests and such
there fun too, and worth doing to keep your skills going in the right direction
also can look for local clubs to both shoot and meet new folks!
