I usually take some candy or nuts,instant energy.If I want more than that I go to my truck where I
bring a good size lunch.

Granola bars,water,apples and my new favorite addition to my pack is a 5 hour energy shot.

I'm with Big holla and well i'm a health freak so I make my own trail maix. I normally only pack during the rut and late archery where I get in the stand and hour before sunrise and dont leave till dark, all the protein and carbs fuels your body and you don't get tired as easily.

usually also take an apple and always have my reserve 5-hour energy but I typically dont have to use it.
Honestly i've never had an issue with food and scent, i've dropped my food bag out of the stand before and had a doe put her head completely in the bag, which had salami sandwiches in it, and those are definitely not the best smelling haha

A mix of dehydrated apples, cherries,blueberries and strawberries and water.
