Scrapes, rubs and deer

I went squirrel hunting with my father in law this evening in a woods that he only squirrel hunts. I was pretty surprised but some of the cool stuff we saw. I had a buck layin about 25 yards away from me for a while I'm guessing bc I was in the same spot for about 20 minutes before he stood up out of his bed, blew at us and ran off. Then we saw several scrapes and rubs. It was a pretty nice addition to our squirrel outing.

Oh it was. And I got to hangout with my father in law. He's the one who taught me to hunt and just has so much knowledge

Sounds like you might have a new piece of property to deer hunt, forget the squirrels, lol.

I would deer hunt it if I could. The lady who let's us squirrel hunt it has a guy who has deer hunted it for years so we can't really get permission to deer hunt it. :( lol
