I wish I had $300 to spend on a pair of binoculars, lol!

Nikon Monarchs, They make a 3, 5, or 7. I own the 5. They work great. The other reason I recommend them is there costomer service. I had water get in my first pair. The sport shop I bought them at, said they never seen that happened before, an was not sure what Nikon would do. So they sent them out and in three weeks, I had a new pair.
NIKON, makes nice binoculars for sure, but so do other ccompany's.
Quality glass in never cheap.
Some times the best way to get higher end glass for less is to shop for closeouts.
many times I have seen some better end binoculars for prices in your range, that otherwise would be way over it.
There just fine, just a last yr . Model they don't make no more, still good bino's.
I sold bino's for yrs too.
several pair I have came this way to me!
so don't just recommend it, I have bought a few doing so!
remember, power of glass effects light and field view.
higher power, tends to be less of both.
the main , or easiest difference I can suggest you look at when viewing possible one's, is really look at edge to edge clarity, does it stay focus on edges,
as this is where cheaper glass shows up faster. And why top glass costs more, to have total clear edge to edge
