Is my hunt ruined?

I just shot a coyote about 10 minutes ago. It's still early, but do you folks think my hunt is ruined? The coyote ran off but I'm sure I got a lethal shot with the 12 gauge. What do you guys think?

You're fine. It is shotgun season. Relax and hunt. Don't forget to follow up on the coyote. If you killed him send pictures.
