alright, so on November 14th I had all kinds of action in the morning. I saw probably a 140 eight point that I couldn't get a shot on and plenty more smaller bucks and does, one small buck following a doe pretty closely. at about 9:30 that morning I saw a buck that was probably 160's, just an absolute stud. the only problem was he walked to within 80 yards and bedded down in thick stuff on top of a hill. he laid there for about 30 mins, I tried grunting and he wasn't interested, when I rattled he turned to look but still never got up. eventually he got up and nonchalantly walked away. I am curious if he was looking for does after he traveled or if he lives close by. I have hunted a lot this past week and havnt seen any rutting action or either one of the big bucks. do you guys think they could live close by or just happened to stroll by looking for does?
