well I just got a pic of one of my non typical's, I was so hoping this buck would have made it with its rack till winter, was hoping to try to find its sheds
but it seems it broke the messed up side off, so, going to be hard to find now, as I try not to walk too much in my hunting area once it starts hunting time, and by late winter it most likely will be squirrel food LOl

Well that a bummer, he had a cool looking rack on his head. But it looks like you still have some nice bucks running around.

thanks, I was hoping to see him in hard horn with that crazy rack, might have tempted me LOL
but maybe he will make it till next yr and grow another crazy one
as for bucks, well I have lots thats for sure, but very very few over 120, most don;t live long enough here to get bigger

Don't live long enough to get big? Does every one just shoot them before they can or what? And I would definitely be tempted by him if he had both sides. I like a nice big freaky rack! Haha.

yes up here if it has antlers they tend to shhot them, out of season in season at night, on private property, places no hunting is allowed
its BAD, and they really don't shoot doe's just bucks
so its rare for 120 class bucks in my area, heck in most of PA
our antler restriction has helped a bunch, but still far too many guys still feel the need to say they killed a buck every yr, over shooting a either legal or older one!
way too many generations still have that HAVE to kill a buck
as time goes on, I hope it changes, but so far not slowing down where I hunt, almost feel its worse now than ever
even local paper here has done stories about people shooting bucks from van's in neighborhhod where no hunting is allowed
and even evening I hear rifle shots from velvet off till shed antlers terrible at time
two yrs ago or so opening morning of archery season, I counted like 8 rifle shots Before sun rise all less than what sounded like 500-600 yrds of me in the woods and we all now what that means most times

and the loacl police/game wardens are useless, tried so many times, I gave up on any help off them!
