Had a doe with 2 fawns go by. A small 4 was harassing them.....to funny. An hour later the 4 came by again from a different direction.

Hi 00buck 9:15 AM I have been watching the herd, Moma had 2 fawns and is skinny, I hope now she will gain weight and attract a big boy,

Let the arrow fly tonight! Took what used to be a 10 point (main frame 8) with split brows although he rubbed one if the split brows off. Details and pictures soon, going to dads to take some pictures and quarter him out!

Seen 2 small does at 7pm. To small to shoot though. But I thought about it for a second. Seems like there was some success today. That's always good to hear form everyone.

Congratulations to all that that took advantage of opening day. Spending time in the woods with mother nature is what it is all about. Being sucessful is just icing on the cake.

I had a close call on a big doe but she never gave me the shot I wanted. Could have shot a little 5 pointer but definitely not what I am looking for in a buck. Overall I saw 7 deer. Not a bad sit for the first morning.

Had five doe come in to me at about 6:55 am. One was walking right to me. I was at full draw and just about ready to let it fly when an unseen sixth one busted me and blew! Didn't see a thing the rest of the morning. In the evening saw one fawn but she didn't get in shooting range.

Saw doe and two fawns Saturday morning...broadside at 8:00 A.M. passed on them and came back for an evening sit... two small bucks..(one busted me as I was sitting back down from a stretch) and a mature doe by herself. Too hot and too early for me to be shooting does. Mosquitoes were bad on my evening sit. I am going to stay out for a couple weeks now if I can stand it and start hunting harder as we get closer to rut.
