I'm in an Urban Deer Zone and was previously allowed up to 6 doe, and one buck of course. I've been hearing that these are no longer valid however, and that now it goes strictly by the states deer zones and the limits each carry.

Are they a thing of the past now?

Nope they are a thing of the past. Thank your fellow hunters who checked deer in taken from urban zone (but didn't) and not go against their total deer kill.
And you can only take one doe with antlerless the rest depending on county you hunt in you will need either or tag for the other deer. Just another way of making more money.

Read your rule book guys.

Yea them taking away urban zones really sucked. Those deer didn't count toward you bag limit and I have 2 hunting spots and one which used to be considered urban. Now it means less deer total for me.
