I need some private land for my son , brother and myself to hunt. We live in lorain county. We were supose to have land to hunt and did a lot of voluntary work on the land for the guy out of appreciation for allowing us to hunt there this year but were just informed that we are not allowed because he is letting his friend and 6 buddies hunt there. Can anyone help?

Sorry to hear about the situation you guys are in. I'm not a land owner to offer hunting. I hope you find something though. Can't believe they would let you do some work for them then say you can't hunt.. Thats crazy

Thanks and I hope something comes through for us. Its crazy we did work there all summer long and now we have no where to hunt. Its too late to go around here asking for permission because all the farms are taken up already.

Do you have any public land to hunt around you? A lot of places don't receive heavy pressure till gun season.

We tried public land last year and it was so over crowded even during bow season it was rediculous. Where is shenango?
well Ohio has tons of GREAT ublic lands, it up to you to find some, posting what and where they are would make a good spot , go bad
you can also try AEP lands, they offer passes either for a small fee or free, forget
the wayne is huge, and has great spots if you go find them
you can also try asking your local game warden, and ask what who has crop damage going on, and then do some home work and go ask these farmers for access
I lost my sopt in Ohio 2 seasons' ago, so know the pains, but then again, I also hunt public lands there and , been very happy where I am at on them
sure weekends and the rut things get higher traffic, but still never had a problem finding a quiet place for me to hunt in
