You have to look closely but there are a few turkey poults learning from momma how to fly!!

Cool, but I think I read once they can fly within a day or so of being born, I know its a real short time frame
but still a cool pic's

I seen a bunch of these chicks and 3 hens walking down the side of the hi way the other day, and I mean on the dam white line, in a 65 mph zone, they were between the north and south bound lanes
having to cross to get to the woods
felt bad, as it was like 5 pm, and busy busy traffic
but that's nature I guess!

I don't doubt they can fly right away, just pretty cool to see her in the same pic flapping her wings and seeing the lil buggers getting air born.
