second find

OK so was out today shed hunting behind my house, and for the second time this yr I found 3 skulls with there racks cut off. these three were about a mile from where I found the last 3, only these were about 250 yrds off an old logging road
only other bones I could find were some hip and rib bones, and all 3 skulls were about 20 to 50 yrds apart, for sure this yr's, as still had a small amount of meat on them
I don't know if someone is poaching and taking skulls or if shooting else where and dumping the head/minus the skulls
walked for 4 hrs and didn't find any sheds, but did find a few dead, well what was left of some hen pheasants, gun club that owns these lands stocks pheasants, and well they are not very smart to live long on there own once released

I can honestly say that in the 15 years ive been shed hunting i have never found that many heads with cut of racks total, let alone in one year near the same area. Might be worth a call to the game warden to just to give him a heads up on your finds. I know that i would personally be pissed if i knew someone in my area was whacking all the bucks and just taking the horns, definitely will affect your success

well my neighbor is a warden, and I told him and even showed him the first 3, and told him today about these too!
seemed to go in one ear and out the other??( actually found these about 500 yrds behind his house??

But I don't hunt these lands, a local gun club owns them, about 2500 acres in all
I told the members at the club house of my finds as well, they too didn't seem to care?
and the game warden I spoke to is also a member so??
to be honest, for yrs I have questioned this local wardens actions
hear lots of shooting at his house/back yard at night, like between 12 am and 4 am?
he runs a feeder all yr, which, well isn't legal to do here in PA?
I have 2 other retired game wardens as nighbor on my street, and well,
they too shoot a lot!

like I said many times on this site
many Game wardens here in PA are not like many I have meet in other states I have hunted, that's for sure!
seems like a lot of do as I say, not as I do here!
