I'm looking to get some new arrows made up and am getting conflicting opinions from different shops. I always thought vanes should be twisted for fixed blade, but a lot of shops say no. Any thoughts. Also, is it possible to twist blazer type vanes. Thanks in advance for any info.

Absolutely they should have helical to them!! That's the best way to get the arrow to fly straightest and keep the fixed blades from taking over and steering the arrow.
