Looks like my deer season isn't over this year after all

I've been hunting one particular 10 point on my property this year. I hadn't seen him since before gun season so I was afraid someone have killed him. He started showing up again a few days ago. Looks like it's time to hit the woods again!

It is amazing how many make it through gun season. I hunted yesterday and was amazed at how many tracks were around. I never saw a deer, but the tracks say that plenty survived gun season. Good luck with that nice buck.

Yes it would be nice to be able to take him but if I don't I sure hope he makes it till next year, he should really be nice by then.

I can see what you mean on that. Kind of one of those catch 22's....you want to shoot him but at this point you'd like to see him next season and secretly hope you don't seal the deal on him. Hopefully you will learn more about him this winter and through summer to nail him.
