savage 220

Does neone out there shoot the savage 220?and if so give me your thoughts on the gun and what ammo you shoot through it. I am thinkin of buying one.

well I don't have one but one of the guys in my hunting camp has one
and I have shot it several times last yr, actually sighted it in for him when he first got it

he is using Winchester Dual Bond 20ga 3 26gr JHP Slug , and they grouped real well at 100 yrds
but he tried a few of the better top line loads and they all shot pretty good, but these grouped the best for his gun
he has a leupold 3x9x40 mm scope on it as well
recoil is not too bad , but its still there, just cause its a 20, don't let that fool you
but a very solid gun I thought, handled very well
