I am looking for some land that I can crossbow hunt on. Tried going to the public areas around me but they are so crowded I had someone walking through my area like every ten minutes. I was recently laid off and can't afford to pay $100 a day that the private owners around me are asking. I am wanting to take my 14 year old out for his first time. If anyone has any ideas or can help me out I would really appreciate it.

I wish I could help you out more. But the best I can tell you is start driving around and knocking on doors. You may just make a friendship that last a lifetime.

best advice here is go about ppaces you like when your driving by or know where you would like to be
and go knock on some doors and ask
BUT to be honest
the time to be doing that is summer , not right before hunting season
kinda makes you look lazy and not putting forth effort before time
Not bashing, just being honest, as being a l;and owner, I get asked all the time, and guys that show up now , I lean that way anymore as do many others I know
BUT never know till you try so
good luck

I did ask some people during summer but they said that they have a group of guys they let hunt there so I can't. Would anyone with land on here or with a hunting spot please allow my son and I to hunt?

Are you showing up at their houses knocking on the door with a rifle over your shoulder? lol sarcasm. Dude get to the off roads in southern Ohio. Public land on the roads in bfe are good hunting grounds with no hunting pressure. Ive seen this first hand
