How far away should I be from my target when paper tunning? Would 10 yards suffice?

I was about 10 yards when I did mine.

10 yards from the paper? That might be a little too far. You don't want to give the fletchings time to correct the flight of the arrow before it hits the paper. That defeats the purpose of paper tuning. 3 to 5 yards would be the max distance from the paper in order to get an accurate tune, I would think.

I agree, start up close before the fletchings correct any issues
