Mixing of Scents for Rut?

Whats going on all,
I recently began using deer scents and was wondering how this might work out or if its even a good idea. I recently purchased a 3oz. bottle of Black Widow 'Dominant Buck' Lure and a 3oz. bottle of 'Hot-N-Ready XXX' Peak of Estrus scent. my question was in regards to making a drag and exactly how to use the scents or if possible mixing them.

Would it be a smarter idea to maybe mix half of each bottle and hang them around the stand and also use for a drag line into the stand? or maybe use just one of the lures for a drag and another for around the stand? If those of you have experience in the area, i would appreciate any input you have.

I wouldn't mix them. The drag what you could do is make a double. Put doe on one and buck on the other. Make one longer than the other so each places its own scent. Then your giving the impression of a buck trailing a doe. Use separate wicks for each and place around your stand.
