9347Stan shot this buck 5 min from my house. Hard to believe a deer like this has been walking around.that's my buddies black truck. The deer was was an absolute monster
I recieved a text of this buck a couple weeks ago, the first thing I noticed was the green tag on it. My tag is blue this year. Just makes me doubt when it was killed. Either way, that thing is a hog!

Good eye bds9. My first thought was the trees sure do look green for October. But, he is a long way south of me. One heck of a buck, without a doubt.

He may have printed his own tag on green paper. It sure is a great buck.
I guess I never really thought of that ghunter. I don't wanna sound like I"m taking anything away from the guy I just noticed it.....

I know there has been a couple of bucks with a different color tag. It just makes you wonder because last years tags were green. Trust me I thought the same thing you did first time i seen it.
well what a great buck
and again shows how special Ohio is for whitetails
world class deer hunting you all have in Ohio

It is one heck of a buck! And I can tell ya it's legal. I'm not far from it and seen the tag myself. I thought the same thing about the tag being green and this years being blue. The tag says 2012 and was printed on lastyears paper where he bought the tag. Just got a pic the other day of it mounted and it looks great. It's great to see these big bucks hitting the ground this year after lastyears frustration from most.

If you read the story, at this point they don't say where but they do say in a food plot......LOL there are a few people that put them in now and then.
