Rattle bag vs horns advice please

I have not been a big person on rattling but I did get a rattle bag and I understand early season just tickle them but is there a "in field difference" with the bag vs real horns?

I prefer real antlers. My son prefers the bag. We have both rattled in some nice bucks. I don't think there's that much of a difference.
