My dad has one from that he got for his B-day from WalMart and it is easy to set up, easy to accidentally shut off and takes OK but sometimes whited out pictures. You will get what you pay for IMO.

Check out the Hunten cameras from Sportsmans guide...a Rural King farm and fleet open up locally and had the on sale for $49, so I checked the reviews. Sportmans guide has them for $69 and they had 8-10 reviews with a 4.5 star average. I got one for my father in-law for Christmas, but haven't used it yet. But all the reviews I saw were good

OK I have a 50 buck tasco camera from wally world, have it now 3 yrs
it actually has great battery life and over a feeder its a pretty good cam
useles on a trail, as super slow to trigger
pic quality is not bad, but not great, over the past 3 yrs it has had moments where it seemed like it wasn't working and weks when it worked better than some of my better cam's, but I found ALL trail cam's have time periods where they get stupid or go on the blink for un known reasons and most then return to working again
if your not over a bait pile or maybe a mineral site, do NOT buy the tasco cam, you will not be happy

best bang for a buck is to look on e bay for anyone still selling the old cuddleback attack cam's, been seeing some here and there new for 100 bucks, don't care what anyone's says, there trigger times are the best out there for under 400 bucks hands down, so for anything other than a feeder location/bait pile, there's no beating them for getting pictures

here is a wally world 50 buck tasco sample pic at night of a walking subject(was standing in front for a while to trigger it) and is about 15 ft from cam, as you can see its not a bad pic

X2 on the Hunten. Their 3MP flash cam is $40 bucks. Battery life is just average I guess, for a flash cam that takes C or D batteries, & just over 1 second trigger speed!

I bought my first trail cams this year. I found a wildgame innovations (red?) on sale at Dicks for $99 ( normally $129.00) - I bought two at the recommendation of the hunting guru there. There were several that were much more expensive, but I put them out on public land so I didn't want to spend too much knowing they could walk away. I have been very pleased with their performance - great day pics... and good night as well. Trigger may be a little slow but adequate. Have caught several deer, coyote, racoon, - Don't think you need to spend a fortune - but for $50 you will most likely get "what you pay for".

I will never buy those cheap 50$ cameras again, nothing but junk imo. Unless your lucky and get the good one. I spend a little more 80-90$ you can find on eBay for Moultrie 2012 Dd55irxt. It takes great pictures, battery lifes good. My last two cameras (Just bought another one this week) I've stepped up and purchased a Covert MP6. I love the camera, good setting, trigger speed, battery life, small. I've seen em ranged pretty high but I just got the one for 129.99$ with free shipping and a 2GB SD card.

If you can make your way to Buckeye Outdoors, they have a WI ir 2mp cam (camo case) for $60. I have 2 of these and they work great. I'm convinced that they are as good as the 5mp cameras I've seen. The have as low as 15-second delay, take video, and have multiple resolution and sensitivity settings.

I bought some moultrie L-50's. they're normally like $60-$80 but after some searching I found them on a site for $46 a piece. Kinda slow on trigger time but takes nice pics. 9230

I have a moultrie d50 that tends to eat batteries but provides 3-4 days of pretty good pictures, and a wildgame innovations N2E that takes good pics as well and is IR. Battery life on N2E is excellent.

I think I'm either getting the Bushnell 5MP or the Primos Truth Cam 35

Anyone own these? The Bushnell is $99 and the Primos is $79

I recently bought a Bushnell for $99 at Walmart. This camera runs on 4 AA batteries which I liked. I have yet to have a card pull from it. I'll be pulling the card in the next couple of days to see how it performed in the field. I did try it out for a few days in my backyard. The photos it took there looked pretty good. Battery life on my other Bushnell camera is great.

seemed like $10 more for the Bushnell wasnt that bad, but after checking reviews today online I found that the Primos had better reviews.

I hate being undecided! :( Heck, I cant even pick out deodorant. Takes me a half hour to sniff thru all of them, lol

I had the Truth Cam 35 for a couple years, until someone else wanted it more than me...But I really liked it. Good day and night pics, never used the video(Ithink it had video)
