I'm always looking at ways to save a little money these days so I had a buddy of mine get some plasitc barrels from his work place. We cut them length wise down, splitting it in two, drilled some holes in the bottom to act as a drain. A bigger hole for a metal spike to be used as a tie down into the gound. Now you have two home made feeders to place corn, oats, or whatever else you want to in. Now set your trail cameras up on your new feeder and watch the swamp donkeys eat!
I would like to suggest one more thing for you to maybe do
get some 6x6, and make a base, so the drasins can work better, if just lating on the ground, them hole will suck moisture up as well as drain water
thus making corn get moldy on you
you can notch the 6x6 timbers to hold the round/barrel better too!
but sounds like a good way to save a few bucks
