These are a few pics of the clover plot I had step by step pics of in the "whos planting spring plots"thread. This was the second time I have mowed mowed it . The clover was atleast 8-10" thick of lush heartland forested trail and whitetail institute imperial clover.I couldnt be happier with the results!! Highly recommend forested trail to anyone who wants a plot deep in the cover! Plot is about 95% clover and 5% weed growth! To me thats a success! Deer are also pounding it so thats a good thing! 85978598

well looks good, the key to clover plots to me is staying on top of them, mowing and or spraying

deer sould be all over that stuff this time of yr too,

If I'm not mistaken doesn't the forest trail mix have a large % of rye grass in it? I personally can't stand rye grass.......there are better options.

Plot looks good though!

100 percent incorrect, I don think one heartland product has ryegrass in it. You might be thinking of some of the other in the woods plot blends.
